ON PROGRESS Duoline Technologies®, Oilfield Division DUOLINE is the world’s premier corrosion protection system for oilfield steel tubular goods in downhole service. DUOLINE 20, a fiberglass-epoxy liner placed inside steel tubing, comprises the bulk of Duoline Technologies® sales activity. Duoline Technologies® has successfully managed to develop worldwide name recognition for the DUOLINE product line, as well as a reputation of providing excellent corrosion solutions. This effort is supported by a very professional level of representation in worldwide manufacturing and marketing partners. Highlights of recent activities include inquiries for our products into sour gas & oil production applications, as well as offshore large diameter water injection wells. In addition the results of recent R&D efforts within Duoline Technologies® shows considerable promise of offering several new liner systems to the DUOLINE showcase. It is our goal to develop and maintain the most comprehensive offering of liner options to fit the full spectrum of oilfield applications; from shallow water injection wells to high temperature deep sour-gas production wells, for both onshore and offshore service. A new welding connection technology, known as the WeldShield recently developed by MaxTube, will also benefit marketing of DUOLINE internal linings for transportation lines and pipeline projects. Domestic sales of DUOLINE into the key area of secondary and tertiary oil recovery projects have demonstrated steady growth. Future CO2 and waterflood expansion projects in the Mid-Continent and Permian Basin should support steady booking levels. Improved throughput capacity at the Odessa, Texas DUOLINE plant has been a necessary and rewarding complement to the sales growth. International sales of DUOLINE have given a dramatic boost to Duoline Technologies®. Through our international sales and manufacturing partners, we now have permanent and portable-lining units spread throughout the world. MaxTube’s Portable Lining Unit (PLU) concept has proven to boost product interest by permitting the lining of a customer’s pipe quite literally in their own backyard. The PLU’s are currently being deployed to line pipe throughout the Middle East and Asia. This is a great addition to the existing permanent DUOLINE facilities in Texas, Brazil and Scotland. A new product and service CD has been released that replaces our somewhat dated product catalog. Customer response to the CD has been very positive to this and the company website, www.duoline.com.
