We have affectionately named it DiamondShield. Also of significance, our Engineers have been hard at work to develop a revolutionary new plastics formulation that provides our users the greatest UV protection available. Our new formulation, which is pending patent approval, has been named SolarGuard. It outperforms any other commercially available fiberglass enclosure formulation in the area of UV resistance. First, by strengthening molecular bonds and polymeric crosslinking that resist the attacks of UV energy. Second, by using a sacrificial additive that actually absorbs UV energy, then releases it without damaging the polymer chain.
